I would never consider a diet like Peat's to be healthful in any way, I'm sorry your health was badly impacted by following it. 

Check out 80/10/10 or Raw till 4 to see more of what I am following and have done for years.  It saved my life from CFS 5 years ago. 

I am now dealing with mercury from badly removed amalgams and on my way back to health again....cheers!
