Hi.

With SB I struggle from 9 years. Over 4 years I used ointments with steroids. For 5 years I am using Elidel with pimecrolimus and Cetaphil for face wash.

After reading this post, and really good opinions of users I decided to start treatment with salt. I started treatment with Himalayan salt Swanson (users wrote that it is more delicate, and that works too). I put down all the cosmetics and creams and began to wash the face with salt.

I am doing this on this way:

1. For the 20-30s I splashed my face with hot water to open the pores

2. To 1 liter of warm water, I add about 5-6 teaspoons of Himalayan salt.

3. In this solution I am washing my face about 2min by splashing in the face.

4. Then I rinse my face with cold water and pat dry

After the first 2 washes my face was very nice to me. Redness disappeared, the skin is peeling but because skin wanted to peel off the scabs. However next washes worsened the condition of my skin and it was only worse.

After 4days of washing face in salt I have the worst disease state from its beginnings as seen in the picture: https://db.tt/RQkNXyO0 H

elp me please, what should I do? Do you also had a relapse? I do not know what to do, the whole face is that very bakes scab and itch ... Or maybe I did something wrong? I have not used at all any ointments or creams but I my face was dry (recommended Aveeno cream I ordered yesterday).
