that is correct. the bible assumes a set of basic knowledge. that basic knowledge has been hijacked today and replaced with the most vile excrement, regardless of the subject.

i found out a long time ago while learning greek and hebrew that the only way the scriptures can be translated properly is for the translator to already know what it says. i set about getting to know what it says. thats why i am getting dismissed.

funny. notice how i still keep using the authorized version to support my perceptions? and thats all they are - my perception. god knows thats been entirely wrong before so take your pick. notice how what i say burns within them. they make it personal because it personally bothers them. they just cant accept that theyre that wrong. behavior has nothing to do with it.

you know why? because the flesh can never please god. its who you are, not what you do. those works of the flesh - they are seen in all manner of everyday life in everyone. the reason god doesnt reach down and snag up a guy about to rape a child is because if he did that he would have to take the child too, and the parents, and the town, and the rest of the world. its NOT the action. its the person doing the act. its the person thinking the thought. violent speech is no different than real meyhem with regard to the source. the people condemning the rapist would have to suffer with him to get justice from the almighty. would they be willing?

you can begin to see how forgiveness covers a multitude of sins.
