I know this is very late but I just saw your post. You're absolutely right about Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , these people are preying on the sick and dying by promising a cure which which is a blatant poison. Just by looking up the Wikipedia for sodium chlorite you can see it's listed as a strong oxidant and causes methemoglobinemia, hemolysis and renal failure. Let's also not forget to mention the Wikipedia for Miracle-Mineral-Supplement as well which lists it as a dangerous poison.

I've unfortunately been the victim of this evil scam as my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008 and my mother, worried the chemotherapy wasn't doing enough, found online a seemingly wondrous medicine which had helped so many people. My mother is 62 so she's not the most internet savvy person and when your husband of 25 years is potentially mortally ill, you are looking for any small hope of saving him.

So it started, mum ordered Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and my father took it out of trust and love for mum. He would certainly shudder every time he had it and complained it didn't taste nice but my mum assured him it would help and he took it without fuss. I was skeptical at first about this, I warned mum about miracle cures from the internet but she showed me what looked like real chemistry to my 15 year old self and said it was fine. She did go to a doctor to make sure it was ok but he said it's basically drinking pool water so it won't help, but it won't harm you.

Over the next year and a half my father was given MMS regularly along with cancer fighting fruit and vegetables while poor mum was convinced it was helping his cancer. The rest of our family was also encouraged to take it whenever we were ill, and so we all began to have it as a fruit juices because we couldn't possibly be poisoning a man dying of cancer unknowingly! Eventually the cancer became extremely aggressive and dad began to have bad pain in his knees, trouble going to the toilet and his hair began to not just fall out but turn white as well. Towards the end dad had a lot of trouble walking and unexpectently his cancer became extremely aggressive until he went blind and stayed in hospital.

He died in May 2009 and from his count being "something to watch but not an issue" to "extremely aggressive and causing it to spread to his knees and head" we were all heartbroken that he had passed away. Yet of course we didn't connect it to MMS and by this stage we didn't want to, because we'd all had a lot. So my mum, my brother and I continued to take it as a way to get over the flu or a cold. This was until about 2010 when warnings about this scam appeared, but there were only a few cases of problems and they only happened after an overdose. It wasn't until about September last year when I took it for the first time in a while and decided to take it straight that I had a look on the net to realise the deadly mistake I had just made and had been making for the last 6 years. After taking it straight for the first time I immediately noticed eyes burning and dry wretching. The next day my appetite was less as I felt nauseous from eating much, my eye-site had changed as I actually noticed colours were more washed out and time moved faster, every second on a clock seemed faster than it was making me realise my brain had slowed down. I also had more difficulty breathing, headaches and coughing. These symptoms have stayed with me ever since.

I'm now fully aware of the symptoms from this bleach in disguise. Both my mum and I have cracking joints which I always put down to stiffness but I now know is the onset of Arthritis cause by the bleaching effect. We both have more croaky voices than we used to which is no doubt due to corrosion of the voice box. Since my father's death I've also suffered from mental health problems which I've never had before which could only be enhanced by the brain damage caused by bleach poisoning. This has been a strain on a family already struck by one tragedy. From being a straight A student with a bright future to someone with mental health problems and a brain and body too slow to do the things I once loved this scam has affected my life greatly and I can only imagine what it's done to my brother and mother.

From reading heartbreaking testimonials from other people who have fallen for this heartless destruction of people's lives I hope desperately that this scam is stopped at its source and no one else is hurt or drawn into it. I honestly cannot believe what goes through someone's mind to not only con people out of money but to knowingly poison the most vulnerable people for profit. Please, let's stop this before anyone else is hurt.
