Surprisingly I've just had a very infected tooth extracted, even though it didn't look very bad in the X-Ray. There was very little blood, so the dentist convinced me to place a Haemostatic Sponge to make sure that I won't get a dry socket.
The Haemostatic Sponge is a little sponge that can be placed in place of an extracted tooth, to help form a blood clot. It is especially useful when there isn't enough bleeding.
So I am here to ask your opinion:
Is it safe?
Is it non toxic?
Thanks,
Avalance
