Is there really a difference between progesterone and pregnenolone? They both convert to cortisol so arent they both going to do the same thing? Appreciate the help btw. My doctor has helped me out a lot too but I feel like something im doing probably isnt right and just cant figure out what.

From my Adrenal Stress Index test, they said cortisol was out of wack, DHEA was fine, but progesterone was low. Maybe I need to be taking the progesterone more religiously, since that might be what is keeping me from getting better. I been on a better diet and making better lifestyle choices, but for some reason that hasnt been enough.
