I had the same experience Maxell, and also Lasb88. Taking Lugol's Iodine crashed me very badly in 2007. I took the advice of a newish experimental forum at the time, here on CZ. (A gf at the time also experienced the same thing because of this forum).It was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. I had thyroid storm for 2 weeks. I thought I would die. I did not know I had adrenal fatigue at the time, nor were there any said precautions advised on the forum.

You CANNOT fix the thryoid if your adrenals are bad. You must start healing the adrenals first, and generally when your adrenals get better, your thyroid will also get better. The 2 work together and affect each other.

The best and safest Iodine source for adrenal fatigue is to take a good quality Kelp. It has other minerals in it and is a food.
