It looks similar to what I've been trying to identify for nearly 4 years, that which I blame for my Morgellons syndrome, that which came on after a year of eating sushi or cebiche every day.

I don't feel comfortable IDing it as Acanthocephala based on just the appearance. But as I learn of their behavior it seems to fit quite well.
