Please share your experiences.
I've been doing research hoping to have information to share that I gather on this great forum.
If you have Premenopausal or perimenopause please list your symptoms and what you did to decrease or eliminate the symptoms.
When perimenopausal symptoms began the
symptoms were so debilitating that
I was sure it was something life threatening!I had hundreds of tests, pelvic exploratory surgery, saw many specialists even infectious disease specialist.
Interestingly, the first gynecologist told me there was no way my hormones were causing the sorts of symptoms I was having.
My MD put me on hormones but they were still low. After, two years of feeling so sick I looked up an expert bio-identical naturopathic doctor. I had hormone tests, BMI tests, micro-nutrient testing, genetic marker testing for cardio-vascular disease, and other illness also a DNA test . The results were in and my hormones were really low, and a couple vitamin deficiencies. Also, low muscle mass, this was due to being so ill that I could no longer run in the park.
The other thing she mentioned was that a large number of women go to the doctor with heart palpitations or anxiety are given some anti-depressants! That many doctor miss that the women needs a full cardiovascular work up ! We need to be our own advocates and get the tests we need.
I'm started a walking in the park and lifting two pound weights and doing light yoga. Started taking Dr Christophers complete bone and tissue formula, high quality protein metabolic recovery drink, and CQ10 ubiquimax
The crazy making hot flashes here is fast natural cure I started taking 2x daily 2 tablespoons of Braggs apple cider vinegar and 1/4 baking soda in a glass of water twice a day stopped my hot flashes within three day gone, NO MORE HOT FLASHES they disappeared fast, what a relief.
Another natural way that my MD suggested to stop hot flashes is estrovera take as needed
My medical doctor told me that menopause for some women is easy they have really no symptoms and other women it is completely debilitating. Anyhow, this got me wondering how many women are having symptoms and what types of symptoms are they having, and what type of treatments are they seeking?
So, this is great forum for women to share their experiences regarding this life change.
