Thanks for your input. Just to update: I got my period at 37 days, the day before my blood hormone test, so the test was inconclusive. At this point I'd had insomnia for so long I decided to go ahead and order the OTC natural progesterone cream. It only took two days to dramatically improve my ability to sleep through the night, which is great. I have been reading several stories about symptoms worsening with overuse, though. I would love to hear more stories from women who have used natural progesterone to improve their symptoms, AND weaned off successfully without relapse. Most accounts I read are from menopausal women who seem to be using it long term.
