I have often felt like a doctor trying to treat a patient on the moon from earth. Yet I am my own patient. I can't smell myself so I can't tell when my efforts are paying off or not, except to rely on other peoples reactions which are not always reliable because people will be polite (except when they're not).It really is hard and even when you ask someone directly, I've learned that most feel obliged to tell you everything is OK. But oh the embarrassment of the overheard comments! Can't win for losing!
