actually not true.

paleo really is an umbrella term at this point.

there are vegetarian paleo people eating high carb from tubers and starchy vegetables and fruits.

there are also low carb paleo people who eat more protein/fats.

low carb is almost its own thing these days where people eat strictly low carb and also chemical sweeteners/dyes/thickeners/monstrosities and other strange non paleo (and non human) foods.

imo, and it means absolutely nothing because no one was alive 2.6 million years ago studying what people ate, i have this concept of paleo being mainly 'found food' like berries, nuts, leaves, fruits, tubers, insects, honey, bivalves, fish, etc supplemented with eating the entire animal including marrow fat, all the organs, blood, muscle, brains, intestines, sweetbreads, etc.

also we are talking about vast swaths of time as if paleo means one thing during an entire epoch of time. i will venture to say that paleo meant many different things throughout the evolution of the paleo epoch.

god only knows what people were doing just prior to the paleolithic period, when they were 'learning' to become good little paleo eaters.

one thing i can guarantee you is that everyone lies. the paleo people are out eating pizzas when no one is looking. and the vegetarians all crave bacon and eat it alone in the dark.

look at how much dietary habits have changed in 2,000 years. and imagine how much things could have changed over the course of 2.6 million years.

this whole debate topic is nonsensical.

and no one is even bringing into the equation the idea that humans were transplanted here from outer space, which is a very real possibility, or that we are a cross-bread species of ape life on earth and alien dna. no one knows what we are. we certainly are an anomaly on earth.

i have no interest in the gurus who are sports oriented. while sports are fun, the gurus who are only sport oriented operate at a very low level of consciousness. and often they are incapable of scholarly, technical, or in-depth complex study and thinking. the people who help others recover from disease are more relevant.

what is scary is that barefoot is more scholarly than many of these people, truly scary because he does not seem like the most intelligent guy on earth. so if a guy like that can have a deeper understanding of what is really going on inside the body of a sick person, some of these moronic gurus (and harley hardly qualifies as a guru btw) are truly mental midgets.

this eliminates most of the people these debates are centered around - meatheads on both sides of the coin.

more tongue pictures less talk.

or gross worm pictures, phlegm, bile, fungus, whichever you prefer.

remember the fecal steamer guy? he was a great troll.
