No, actually calcium spurs are caused by not enough vitamin K to get calcium where it belongs - inside bones - and get calcium away from where it does not belong.

Taking more calcium without enough vitamin K will only exacerbate the problem, according to every study I've read on vitamin K.

K2 is, I believe, the best form of vitamin K, rather than K1.
