Hey, there's no point in arguing with these other people, who knows who's on these boards and what they're trying to sell. The fact is there's a wide body of Science behind Fecal Transplant and a whole lot of studies and trials. The basic logic behind it is that the good flora is somehow lost, or a part of this flora. lost due to Antibiotic use, or maybe by an invasion of a bad bacteria that's lurking in your guts. And some of these bad bacteria is impossible for Science to identify - same as it took Science about 10 years to find out C.Diff was being caused by a bacteria. So the bottom line, as long as the donor is screen and I would also make sure that no open ulcers are present in your colon, then there shouldn't be any harm in Fecal Transplant - it's only held in your colon for a few seconds to few minutes at most, no risk of the "toxicity" mentioned above by a fellow. Our poop is also toxic but it's not killing us by staying in our colon. So I don't follow their logic that we shouldn't introduce someone else's toxic poop in our gut.
