Yes, indeed the turmoil affects them. I have 4 children, they are now all adults and they are all messed up. One is a narcissist worse than her mother. Their mother brain washed them to never, ever resolve conflict, but to run, hide and blame. I see them in many relationships that don't last now.

I'm not an advocate of meditation, when in a relationship with a narc or sociopath, most find it impossible to meditate in peace. Secondly, if you can find the peace, it is but momentary. Though some do have success with meditation, I found it to be more harmful than helpful as it led to dissociation and other problems.

The most helpful tools I have found are the energy therapies.
