Hi all, I'm new here and have a question about healing leaky gut. Long story short...I have a laundry list of symptoms and diagnoses going back 10+ years, including autoimmune. A year ago I decided to forget everything I knew about medicine and started pursuing natural remedies. I've been extremely hypersensitive to everything I've tried thus far until very recently. For the past few weeks I've been drinking homemade chicken broth, as well as coconut water...as I've read they're good for leaky gut. Now my question...my appetite has become insatiable. Is this a sign of healing? I also experienced extreme hunger while trying other remedies that I couldn't tolerate at the time, like coconut oil, turmeric, etc. My thought is that maybe my gut is finally beginning to absorb nutrients from my food and it's screaming for more, but I can't find anything to back that theory up. TIA :)
