John Crane never did positive offset or 3 points positive with his 4 point zapping. The benefits were unknown at the time. That started with Hulda Clark . Note also that Richard Loyd and Jeff Sutherland also often use positive offset. Others have discovered Hulda Clark was right regarding that.
