So about two months ago I started getting this pain in my chest and then shortness of breath. I went to the doctor and had an X-ray and they found some bronchial thickening, so they sent me home with albuterol. This started on a horrible chain of visits. I have now had the full cardiologist workup, a chest CT, allergist referral, and loads of fun with multiple medications that don't ever seem to help.
I'm an artist and a photographer and after taking Biology in high school I found myself very interested in owning a microscope. I find it inspires me to see the world in a different way. So I pulled it out yesterday since the batteries on my flash on my DSLR were dead. I took a sample of a peacock feather and then, not really knowing what to try next, I decided to take a sample of my saliva. And I found this.

I took more samples and found many more and today I was able to get a better view of one and it was moving and seemed to be opening and closing a mouth of some sort. It was creepy!

I took them to the doctor today and they took a sputum sample and gave me a stool sample kit and the results should be back in a few days. It seems like it fits 100% even down to the sudden allergies. Has anyone else ever had an experience with these types of symptoms and found out they had a parasite of some sort?
