there is a visual indicator showing the age of the thread, and the age of every single message.
It is a small number with a letter, at the end of a link to every single message.
example of numbers:
90s ... message posted 90 seconds ago (red color)
25m .... message posted 25 minutes ago
14h ..... message posted 14 hours ago
20d ...... message posted 20 days ago
12mo ........ message posted 12 months ago
9y ........... message posted 9 years ago
The older the message, the less visible number.
Fresh messages have red numbers like 90s .... seconds ago
There is also a different number, larger number.
That number indicates how many views were recorded on that message.
Example:
//www.curezone.org/forums/f.asp?f=591
That thread was started 19 months ago, and the first message was viewed 208,721 times (this number may change).
Example of threads with a large number of views:
