I had a severe tonsillitis infection when I was 22 years old and now I'm 68. I have had this problem many years. I have found that coconut oil stopped it. I started taking coconut oil for memory and it stopped mucus in my throat. Nutiva brand at GNC 1 teaspoon per day. It is solid at room temperature but it melts in your mouth. I'm 90% better. I also take oil of Oregano capsules 1 per day. It has stopped my chronic bronchitis and throat infection. GNC brand is what I use. I owned a GNC vitamin store for 35 years. Sold and retired this year.
