Golly G-girl, come to think of it, I never sold or offered to sell anyone anything, health related. No herbs, iodine, etc. Sometimes I ponder, "why not ?" The first answer I always get, is that I don't have the facilities to manufacture a product intended for human consumption, because in Texas and the US, such facilities are regulated, inspected, etc. I just never had the investment to ensure I could comply with "good manufacturing practices", tax laws, and other regulatory matters. I'd rather cut cedar with a chainsaw than have to invest in a facility, and fill paperwork out for things intended for human consumption. Imagine, all it would take is one person to get sick from what I sold, then sue me in court, what a hassle that could become. So I guess I'd need to buy insurance too. That's like the last thing I'd ever do, offer a product intended for people to ingest, the regulatory stuff on that stuff is beyond my ability. Even our restaurants have health inspectors, I think that's a good idea, to protect the public.
