>>While she did say that her decision to try the Master-Cleanse was not due to "diet alone" she does go on to say how wonderful it is to buy stylish clothes & she even calls herself a "clothes-horse" now. In my humble opinion Ms Quiver's said that she didn't do the Master-Cleanse as a diet solely for legal reasons. <<

I'm not sure where your "diet alone" quote is supposed to be from, because that quote is nowhere in the article. What Quivers does say (several times) is that "This wasn't about weight loss. I was trying to regain my health." I'm not sure how it could be any clearer than that, but maybe there is something confusing about what that means to you. To me, it means she did not go on the Master-Cleanse to lose weight.

While you're certainly entitled to your opinion about Quivers' motives, it just doesn't coincide with the facts. Long before the People magazine article came out, Quivers was quoted about her IBS problems. Here is just one example of many.

Robin Quivers Lost Over 60 Pounds
"Yes, Howard Stern's sidekick Robin Quivers has recently lost a lot of weight, the hard way. Nobody wants to go on that kind of diet. According to the "New York Post," Robin "almost starved to death." Quivers has reportedly been suffering from health problems associated with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Let's hope that Robin has things under control, will be eating more normally, and won't be drinking anymore of that strange liquid concoction that David Blaine supposedly recommended."
