Thank you for posting this great information. I'm using Life Extension Lactoferrin (apolactoferrin) for Acne in high doses (3-4 caps a day) but even after a few weeks I did not see any improvement until I added betaine hcl. Now I'm seeing an improvement but I believe I need more hcl with each meal. Hope this will help someone out there.
