The flush is by and large due to a histamine dump. By slowly upping the dose over a few weeks and taking it in divided doses over the course of the day you in essence deplete your body of histamine so the flush is nearly nonexistent or at worst highly tolerable ate the higher doses. Care must be taken to scale back dose if you miss any however because your body will replenish the histamine stores.
