I think morning is best. I can't take mine after 11am or I have trouble falling asleep on the 3 days a week that I don't have to be up early and I'm not as physically active as the other 4 days.
I am also finding that since supplementing with iodine, my highlights are growing out twice as quick... No topical use either.
