yes to drinking the cs
and if bacterial, probably the CS
sometimes bacteria release viruses when they die
or so i've heard
so it might be good to take both
i take both
sounds like upper respiratory if you are nebulizing
i had a cough that would get better
but it wouldn't go away for weeks and weeks
until i added NAC
and then it was gone for good
so now i keep it in my arsenal
it's really good to prevent pneumonia
great stuff for the lungs
