When I first came here and was so sick and felt like I would literally die any second... I wanted to punch Grizz (and David, the vitamin C guy) in the throat. Seriously... I'm ready to die and you people are telling me I need to take Iodine and vitamin c... and fix my immune system? F you... I'll stick your Iodine and vitamin c so far up your.... nevermind.
I was sick.. and I wanted a fix. I didn't get my fix until I started following their advice. Once I got my fix, I felt better than ever and wanted even more. I knew better than to just jump without doing my own research, but 99% of the best posts on CZ (imo) are peoples personal accounts - when you can see for yourself, the good and the bad. The scientific stuff and doctors are good when you want to know how things work, but they can only speak in general terms. The thing I love the most (and I'm sure others agree) about this forum is that it's very personal and gina and trapper (i don't know V yet) don't pretend to be these perfect - non toxic - all knowing beings. They go into great detail about their not so perfect health in the past and where they stumbled with detox... what horrible things they've experienced or cleared up. They don't try to give the impression that they are superior... they're human just like the rest of us. If they don't know the answer to a question, they say they dont know and try to give the best answer they could.
In the last month, this forum has been life changing for me, personally... and that's by no means an exaggeration. I would love to scream it from the roof tops too... but I really have no clue what is good for anyone else. Besides stuff I've personally dealt with and vitamins took care of. They seem to have about the same effect on everyone.
