I worry about throwing off other things too.. especially with supplements. This one cancels out that one... and you need to take x with y so it absorbs better and produces z Its overwhelming.
What attracted me to Iodine was that all the females in my family have had complete hysterectomies by the time they were 30 and lumps removed from their breasts and this and that biopsy. My younger sister just turned 33 and had all kinds of cancers and -ectomies" done... i just turned 34 and noticed a pattern of all the things that went wrong in my body like Gallstones and developing adenomyosis in my uterus is caused by estrogen excess. I got luck so far, so I'd like ro reverse anything i can and prevent future disaster... plus i wanted to see if it would take my asthma away or at least make it bearable, which along with removing inflammatory foods from my diet, it has done to an extent. It would be so much easier if there was thag magic number or test that would show if said organs were getting what they needed and what they need more of.
I started at 2 and a half droppers of 7% which is between 100 and 120mg depending on how well my dropper wants to work. I started high to test the "blast through detox" theory.. and so far my only complaint was the chest infection flaring up, but it's gone away again. It seems like its trying to come back, but it goes back and forth. I just learned that this isn't rehasging an old infection, but a detox through a secondary elimination organ. I just ordered some SSKI from trapper to see if a little more KI will help my lungs.
