For what it is worth, I think you are doing everything right. Also do not be afraid of taking large doses of SSKI . Prior to WWII, doctors routinely prescribed dosages up to 1.8 GRAMS of SSKI .

However they hid the common name by calling it Pima. You can Google Pima to learn more about this. Old time doctors (mostly retired now) still prescribe Pima, mostly for lung problems.
