I happened upon both of your posts (Mark - mwkwriter and k and Jonsher_uk) and I am curious which way to go. Recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (Feb 2014 with previous 3 months of suffering before hospitalized and diagnosed.
I am on a VERY limited budget and cannot spend hundreds of dollars with experimenting. My family not too supportive and getting frustrated with me because of the way I shop now (less goodies and snacks, rice, pasta)I have cut all dairy, carbs, gluten free and eating protein, fruits and veggies (SCD- Elaine Gottshall)At this pointI am taking a 12 day probiotic regimen BIO K Plus (dairy, gluten etc. free) and supplements of liquid chlorophyll, olive leave (20%), B12, Iron, OMega 3 and 6, and unfortunately on Lialda (2 per day) I want to ERADICATE meds(when bleeding occurs, prednisone) permanently!!!! Please I ask you both - HELP! Thank you so much from the bottom of my colon...(lol) Regina :)
