Hi

I went to dermatologist on Monday I am relieved that it's not staph. Instead he said I had rosacea (adult acne) and that I need to avoid caffeine, alcohol, and chocolate. I have to continue my doxycycline for the rest of my life. I am a 30 year old female and this issue started 8 months ago. I have been constantly washing hands and avoided sharing anything with my family. I'm so relieved that it's not catagious. Yes I have Acne on my hairline, all over and bright yellow pimples on scalp, but it's not life threatening just embarrassing if anyone sees it.
