- Possible of course; I would expect some Body Odor (scalp, feet, armpits) if it is bromide detox.

But the symptoms you have, can just as well be a deficiency like zinc (typically oily scalp, hair loss)

When my 12 year old had dandruff, stinking scalp and feet, first year of iodine; I treated his scalp with a solution of borax in water, essential oils and quite a lot of iodine. Once a week or so. I also gave him zinc, selenium, vit B, C in addition to iodine. It worked very well. Now 5 years after none of these symptoms.
