steroids are very effective at treating symptoms but will not address the root cause of your problem and will if taken for prolonged periods diminish your immune system.

for skin inflammation that affects small areas like you have described we would recommend coconut oil applied directly as a first line treatment combined with a naturopathic health protocol.

if the problem persists, then it would need further investigation to identify the causative factors.
