Yes, the jiggle between slightly off topic, far off topic is a skill.. I suppose we need to refine. Also the jiggle of taking care of newbies, vs the ones that have some experience; their need or wish for information.

Personally I think this forum has become too much one way only to do it, the longtimers know better than this.
To keep the good old ones posting at this forum we need to moderate this better IMO. Too many potentially good threads aborted because of a rather rigid regimen.

As I have told repeatedly; digging into old threads is a treasure chest. Now we seem to have very few that are willing to do this work; thats why I dont chime in as I used to: I know we have answered this over and over again.

There is a tendency of coming in here and complain about Iodine causing a problem, instead of doing the homework first.
- Trapper, Vulcanel, Wombat, me (moderators), Newport, Grizz and others; have totally different ways of doing it. If we could front this in a good way, it would be good for this forum.

One mentioned needs to back off a little to give room for this, IMO.
