My name is Kristin and i had the mirena iud , started having complications after 5 yrs. i had an appointment to get it taken out but a few months before , i started hurting down there on my left side. I could feel the iud inside me. i finally got it taken out after calling and begging to get it out. after a few days i began to hurt. my left side of my chest and my left side of my back . i was feeling anxious and was having trouble sleeping. a week after removal i was in so much pain i was freaking out . long story short after 3 weeks my right side started hurting and then my knees. i was diagnosed 2 months later with fibromyalgia . its been 6 months of hell.
