You may be able to use your computer to generate sound frequencies that you can listen to or put speaker/headphones on your trouble spot. See list of sound frequencies:

and

You can find on-line sound frequency generators or you can download one from http://www.nch.com.au/tonegen/
or
you can use a sound program like Audacity.
