Your symptoms sound like you could have become hypothyroid as a result of doing lugols. You mentioned that you didn't take selenium. I don't know for sure if this
could've happened had you taken the selenium along with Lugols but it seems people with Hashimoto's see improvement after taking Iodine WITH selenium. You may also need other companion nutrients such as iron and zinc for conversion of t4 into t3 rather than rt3. That's why I suggest you not do the fast, in case your body is already deficient and you aggravate the condition even more by giving your body a reason to downregulate.
