I totally agree with you.

However my question was: Why is Trapper's suggestion for starting at 100+mg of Iodine so effective at minimizing detox? (as compared to starting with a small dosage)

My theory is that Iodine quickly BOOSTS the immune system to prevent Candida Die Off symptoms and allows the immune system to fight off Candida.

( I am assuming that terrible detox symptoms on small Iodine doses are caused by Candida)

Am I wrong? What am I missing in your opinion? Can you shed any more light on why starting with 100+mg is far more effective than starting with a small dosage?
