As I have said before, I work 12 to 16 hour daays and have little time for much more than what I already do.
>- hope that you are talking about doing the experiments and doing the measurements of the results, because capturing photos/videos/audios and editing these can be done in a few minutes.
Yes, capturing can be done in a few minutes but the editing takes time.
Every test has to be done at least 3 times, and that is if nothing goes wrong.
1) test with every thing hooked up except the zapper is not turned on as a control to show that something else other than the pulses is not killing the microbes.
2) test and zap up to the point of almost completely destroyed and then turn off to see if they recover. If they recover and return to normal activity, this is evidence that it was the electrical pulses and not some toxins released from the electrodes.
3) test to destruction. This is final evidence that the zapper is actually killing.
But wait! you have to grow and culture the microbes, easier said than done.
I am currently working with some free living helminths. It has taken several weeks to get the culture to full bloom.
Sometimes the videos are not any good. For examples, bubbles form from electrolysis. Sometimes, the microbes migrate outside of the field of view - start over.
A lot more problems than you might think.
