Hey guys...I've recently had to stop taking ALL supplements, including iodine, due to being diagnosed with PVC's. I was just diagnosed last Friday and was told to quit taking everything but prescribed medications, to rule out certain reactions ( I was taking around 100mg Iodine/Iodide and all co-factors). I originally thought that my thyroid was going "hyper" and that was the cause of the PVC's....did blood work and EVERYTHING was in normal range. Crap.

So, they ordered the holter monitor and stress test with echo....come to find out the PVC's lessen with exercise, which is a good thing. Doc said the ultrasound didn't "look too bad"...whatever that means. Results came in and I am having up to 500 PVC's an HOUR...not a day, like most people, but an hour. Crappity crap crap.

I noticed having more heart "flutters" about the beginning of July. I started the Iodine protocol in the middle of June. Things didn't start really getting my attention until a few weeks ago. I thought it was just stress, which I always seem to be struggling with.

I guess I just want to rule out that taking Iodine influenced more of these PVC's. The weird thing is I've felt better taking Iodine, more mental clarity, more energy, etc..The only "cleansing" reaction that I've been dealing with lately was getting more frequent cold sores (small ones, but a new one every 4-5 days, ugh) and feeling a little anxious.

Sorry to drag this out but I'm just overwhelmed. I'm only a 34 yo female and the doctor seems to think I possibly may have scar tissue or some other abnormality of the heart since the labs are coming back "normal"....
