100mg of Lugols MINIMUM is needed to avoid most if not all those nasties biting you on the way out.

for beginners its like the first is the worst or the best. amazingly, bad reactions (things people dont like) are a tiny fraction of the many who have no or positive reactions. the chances for negative reactions are greatly increased by taking low doses of iodine, especially under 50 mg.
