I did, but adenomyosis is a little different.. instead of the lining growing out of control everywhere, it grows deep into the muscle of the uterus and changes the uterus from a smooth surface to a holey- sponge like surface. Endo can be reversed, but adeno is only reversible about half the time. Every woman in my family had estrogen issues like fibroids and cysts and ended up with hysterectomies in their late 30s. My issues were found by accident.. they were doing an ultrasound to make sure I didn't have a bowel blockage while on albendazole and they found "something" in my uterus... which they thought were fibroids... then upon closer look, they found the adeno because my uterus had a "lacey" appearance and was very cystic (deep holes). Nobody is 100% sure what causes it, but hormones are suspected in some because being put in a medicarion induced menopause will correct some cases. That wasn't an option... neither was a hysterectomy. The ablation didn't thrill me either, but since im only 34, the endo lining will probably grow back in 5 years... this time hopefully without the adeno.
I DO think Iodine plays a roll in these types of problems.. my daughter's peditrician told me about his wife taking Iodine before, during and after her pregnancies.. but there's got to be more to the estrogen dominance than just that..
