I guess you don't know a lot of Asian people but even we get diabetes when we're older.

I was on the 80/10/10 my whole life (standard Asian diet with rice as the staple, lots of cooked vegetables, little meat and nearly no fat) but I still developed candida overgrowth. You forget there are other factors at play. And they have more influence than diet. But of course if you eat a crappy diet of processed food, your body won't be able to heal
