the only thing that confuses me is that my mom always cooked from scratch good food. we were never allowed canned foods, sodas (only till our teens) and of course we got the occasional piece of candy, cookie but we were always fed square meals that were healthy ... she even made us our own potato chips! lol.

I do not eat drive thru food, sodas or canned foods to this day. I eat extremely healthy for the most part. It makes me wonder if my body has not been absorbing nutrients for some reason ... thanks for your feedback, I truly appreciate it.
