Cutler is concerned about Hg chelators pulling Hg out of any remaining amalgam. While it might be true that no Amalgam is under that crown, we've heard from some who found Amalgam upon lifting the crown.

I can understand that some people roll the dice but if you do so, I'd be very alert for strange headaches, jaw pain, etc that are sometimes reported when remaining Amalgam is involved.
