I doubt that the reason for the response is any of the above. I think you will find that you are activating gene expression of the cells' natural defences. You might find that a modest dose of 100% whole enzyme-active broccoli sprout powder will do the same thing. It is very much more potent than chlorphyll in activating cellular defences (including detoxification).
