cool article. its a mixed bag, of course, regarding true/false but it has good stuff in it. like this paragraph regarding pH and iodine:

Manipulation of the acidity or alkalinity of urine provides another advantage of Iodide in treating the urinary tract. At acid Ph the antiseptic effect of Iodine is increased. At alkaline Ph it becomes a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. Urine Ph is easily monitored by Ph test strips available at the pharmacy. I have seen urine flow double in just a few days but it does require some attention to the Ph factor. This kind of "listen to your body therapy" takes full advantage of the many uses of iodine.
