DMPS is usually nice in the early months of chelation after Amalgam removal.

My fiance and I are both using Cutler's protocol. She started 1.5 yrs after me. After my improbable gains she wanted some : )

I was using DMSA + ALA (Cutler's protocol) because lead and cadmium seemed to be my major problems. Therefore I had plenty of DMSA to give to my female friend. (this was before the Obama administration decided after 50 years of DMSA availability to make it only available with a doctor's script. I suppose they don't want people getting well without using their limping medical system.) However, she seemed to be a classic case of chronic Hg poisoning without the involvement of lead. I actually paid for a doctor visit and the first bottle of DMPS for her. It was a better fit for her situation.

If you choose Cutler's protocol you'll take DMPS every 6 or 8 hours for a long weekend and then try to extend the round out to a week, maybe more, depending on how you tolerate it.

Don't forget to take plenty of antioxidants especially while on round. We take extra C E Se, etc in the 8 or so hours after the end of the round to help with mop up.

Much more could be said!
