I take Nature's Way kelp capsules.. 360mcg of Iodine per capsule... i feel good with it.. I dont take it all the time. But in Dr. Jarvis's book he recommends 5grains of kelp with each meal to prevent/cure heart ailments.. I had to work out the conversion of grains to grams and these capsules come out to about 10 grains of kelp.. so when I take it I just take one per day.

IMO youre probably fine taking it.
