David, had just 5 stones in his pocket. He took down Goliath with just one of them.

The rest of the stones were probably ready and waiting for Goliath's brothers to come avenge him.

David was called a man after God's own heart. A man who stepped out in faith in order to do God's will.

He was also a prepared young man in the days of giants. :)
